The guidelines of the contest required the card to be non-denominational. The theme of this card is “light.” The new year is celebrated through fireworks, complemented by glowing fireflies. The fireflies floating gently out of a bottle are a symbol of hope, evoking a sense of being released from the confines of the past, to look forward to a more luminous future.
